The concept have been partially explored and is scheduled for more analysis, feedback is welcome. Hyppocampus 0.3rc2 released http://lobotomy.sf.net/Hyppocampus After long time, 0.3rc2 is released. Most of work have been in LibHyppo and the new VFS API, which now sports a set of objects which rappresent different level of informations from the filesystem and a notification system based on DBus interaction with SubConsciousDaemon 0.4.3. SubConsciousDaemon 0.4.2 released http://lobotomy.sf.net/SubConsciousDaemon The 0.4.3 of SubConscious Daemon is available for downloads: it now includes a fundamental part of the notification subsystem implemented in Hyppocampus and LibHyppo 0.3rc2, and is more integrated with the whole system. The execution of this release is required to handle observers API at runtime in the current VFS abstraction. Hyppocampus 0.3rc1 released http://lobotomy.sf.net/Hyppocampus Jump of version series for the Hyppocampus filesystem. The new release have been completely rewritten: the internal index in the binary file have been dropped and substituted by a real RDBMS interfaced by LibDBI. This is a main issue for the project: now are admitted interrogation queries richer and complex, with multiple metadata in the SELECT, in the GROUP BY, and finally are implemented the ORDER BY and the NOT operator. This release is a transitional one: more features have to be included against the completely new engine (the support for external plugins have been temporary suspended), and at the same time the other components involved in Lobotomy have to be upgraded to the little changes in the public API. SubConsciousDaemon 0.4.2 released http://lobotomy.sf.net/SubConsciousDaemon The 0.4.2 release of SubConsciousDaemon is out: here you find the new LibSubConscious, which actually only contains API for plugins but in the near future will include all functions to hook the daemon and be notified about changes on Hyppocampus filesystem, and a new plugin dedicated to the automatic extraction of keywords from textual documents. Hyppocampus 0.2.3 released http://lobotomy.sf.net/Hyppocampus In the 0.2.3 release of Hyppocampus you find a first implementation of VIEWs: now you are able to save queries and access them as you access folders. Some main bugs fixed, and the group of previously released tool dedicated to the command-line navigation have been substituted with a single executable which checks queries and traslate in paths suitable for Hyppocampus navigation Kiazma 0.2.3 released http://lobotomy.sf.net/Kiazma Shipped with the 0.2.3 release of Synapse you find the new version of Kiazma: the main attentions have been paid for the heavy modification of the KiazmaIconStackedView, which in the near future will implements the "environmental mapping" explained in related document you find in "Documentation" page. This is to consider a development release. Synapse 0.2.3 released http://lobotomy.sf.net/Synapse The 0.2.3 version of Synapse have been released. Also if in this code changes are minimal (mainly bugfixes), the final application look a little different due modifications in Kiazma: a new query editor is present, and the icons presentation appears ugly due experimentations with the KiazmaIconStackedView which have to be tuned. This is to consider a development release. Synapse 0.2.2 released http://lobotomy.sf.net/Synapse After some problem with the repository, the Synapse 0.2.2 comes to accompaign the relative Hyppocampus one: now queries can be inputed with a more natural syntax (but more works is needed in this context) and history is permanently saved. But the most relevant feature reguards the OnMouse-Shell: is now possible to select the "shell mode" and open a terminal window clicking and dragging the mouse cursor on the filemanager window; actually it do nothing exciting, but soon this will be more integrated with the system Hyppocampus 0.2.2 released http://lobotomy.sf.net/Hyppocampus This new release of the Hyppocampus filesystem is mainly for revision of internal managment of informations: changes have been introduced to recognize queries from individual files requests, and the notification mechanism to the SubConsciousDaemon have been logically improved. Please note that from this release the package contains some little utilities which made easy interface to the filesystem from the commandline
